Clams and Tomatoes Pasta

It's very handy to keep pasta and olive oil at home. I was again having a hard time thinking what to eat so I just took what I have in my fridge out and cook them. This is really simple.

Ingredients

clams
1 ripe tomato, cut thinly
garlic, minced
olive oil
salt
pasta cooked according to package instructions

How to cook

Heat pan over low fire and add olive oil. When the oil is hot enough, add the garlic and tomatoes. Saute until garlic turns a littl brown; you can also mash the tomatoes while sauteing. Add the clams and salt to taste. When the clams are cooked, toss thethe cooked pasta into the pan and cook further for about a minute or two.

I love the mild taste of garlic and clam in this dish. You can also use mussels if clams are hard to find.
