Pesto Pasta with Herbed Chicken

It's a weekend and I thought of making myself a good dinner. Pasta doesn't take much time to prepare so I made a really quick pesto pasta with herbed chicken.

Ingredients

chicken breast
olive oil
basil pesto
chopped garlic
pasta, cooked according to package intructions
herb powder
salt

How to cook

Prepare the chicken breast by washing and drying it with a paper towel. Put the chicken into a container and put enough amount of herb powder and a little salt. Shake the container to coat the chicken well.

I really wish I could use fresh herbs and freshly processed basil leaves in this recipe but that's not so easy. I just bought a bottle of processed basil and herb powder from the supermarket.

After coating the chicken with herb powder, heat the pan over medium fire and put a little olive oil. When the  oil is hot enough, put the chicken and cook until the meat becomes golden brown.

When the meat is done, remove it from the pan. Add more olive oil and saute the garlic. Add the pasta and the pesto. Mix well and sprinkle a little salt.

Notice that there aren't any measurements in the ingredients. Use more or less of the ingredients; depending on your preference.

This can be done within 15 minutes. Quick and yummy!
